SYSTEM user with Vista
Do you have physical access to a Vista box and need to become SYSTEM user? Try this one:
- boot the Vista box with BackTrack or some other Live CD
- mount the NTFS partition
- rename c:\Windows\System32\Utilman.exe
- copy c:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe to c:\Windows\System32\Utilman.exe
- reboot
- at the login screen: start Utilman with “Windows key + U”
- start CMD.EXe
- start EXPLORER.EXE
- done!
There is a nice screen cam video of this available.

Thx
The way I done this was within the Vista OS, just rename utilman.exe then change the name of cmd.exe to utilman.exe (you may have to change some things in the security tab of the two-i did!) and then once you have done this just press the windows key and u and it will open the system cmd, then type explorer.exe!
